off road driving -1 day
This course is designed for experienced off-road drivers whose training was some time ago and who want to reassess and update their skills.
It aims to:
Bring drivers up to date with modern off-road vehicles, vehicle technology and driving techniques
Review recent legislative changes that affect driving off-road
Look at the advances in technology, legislation and vehicles and how these changes affect off-road driving techniques
• An interactive workshop to update 4x4 drivers on the types of 4x4 systems available and refresh their knowledge of safety considerations, vehicle and journey preparation, and the principles of negotiating typical off-road terrain
• A demonstration drive with a qualified AA DriveTech off-road instructor to evaluate delegate’s off-road driving skills and highlight areas for improvement
• Practical ‘behind the wheel’ tuition, enabling the delegates to practice the improved techniques
4×4 Winch & Recovery Training
We provide the Lantra Health and Safety and Risk Management in Winching Operations course, either from one of our 4×4 sites or in the workplace. We gear the course around clients’ requirements and have worked with winches of all sizes, from forestry hand-winches, through capstan and drum 4×4 mounted winches, towed winches, up to winches mounted on battleships and aircraft carriers. Our highly experienced trainers have written training courses for industrial and military winch operators.
For non-winch related vehicle recovery (and self-recovery), including towing, rope extraction, stabilisation, jacking (standard, air, exhaust and ladder/farm jacks), use of sand ladders/waffle boards and essential debogging techniques, we can tailor courses to your requirements.

As a 4×4 training provider we can guarantee that your trainers are legally qualified to train (we only use DVSA Approved Driving Instructors for our 4×4 training), but we also ensure that all of our trainers are fully qualified instructors in their specialist field, registered with LANTRA – The Sector Skills Council for Land Based Training.
As such we feel that we are the most professional company you can turn to for your off-road training.

ימי ההדרכה שאנו מציעים מחולקים לפי סוגי השטחים: שטח טרשי ושטח חולי. בכל אחד מהם נתנסה באתגרים שהשטח מציב והפתרונות לאתגרים אלו. אנו מבצעים בתחילה, הדרכה תיאורטית ולאחר מכן, ניגשים לבחון את התיאוריה בשטח. עליות קשות, מכשולים או ירידות תלולות, בכל אחד מהם נלמד כיצד להתמודד ובאילו מקרים כדאי להיות חכמים ולא להיכנס למכשול. כמו שאומרים, פיקח יודע לצאת מצרות שחכם יודע לא להיכנס אליהן.
